So, I have 3 clan mechs, and like 11 million in my bank from long sessions with friends. However, I don't know which of these I should master, if any at all.

Hunchback IIC:
Pros: Guns guns guns
Jumpjets
Battlemech customization
Cons: Side torsos are easy to isolate, and my enemies know it
Not an omnimech
Makes me look like freebirth scum

Shadowcat:
Pros: Fast
Lotsa jumpjets
ECM
Machine guns lols
Cons: Lousy Hardpoints
Not enough free tonnage for ammo
My marik violet paintjob doesn't camouflage well

Stormcrow
Pros: Fast
super good
missiles, guns, lasers, or a mix
Cons: No jumpjets
ballastics hardpoint is too low, and can only get 1
makes me look like a tryhard

The Crow.

A lot of good builds.
You can fit it with your own playstyle: brawl, medium, long range, lrm boat. All good.
With its speed, no JJ is not an issue.
Head and torsi hardpoints are not low; anyway with the crow u don't need to hill-peek: with its speed, acc and deceleration, side peeking is good.

Go for it, tryhard-wannabe! :D

Trick question! The Clans only have one medium mech. Also some 40 to 55-ton rotting piles of garbage.

I'd suggest the Crow, using the Crow C with a B's Laser arm makes for some hilarious play. UAC20 plus 8 ER Smalls can be pretty giggly with that speed if you want a break from the usual long range crow skirmish builds.

The poor Ice Fridge :(
The crow is all around the best option. But if you want something different, since the MASC buff the Shadowcat is a decent mech.

Crow. You don't need any other Mechs.

Storm Crow, it's versatile, fast, and good in almost any situation.

I do well enough in it that I don't play it outside of competitive type things to keep the game fun and keep my PSR low enough that I can have fun running loltastic builds.

Crow.

The HBK is a great mech, I would even argue that the IIC-A is a better laser bro than the Stormcrow. However, the HBK-IIC can often require quite a bit of finesse to last through the match and not get wasted or gimped too early.

The Stormcrow can be built to be a great mech regardless of situation. Its only downside is no JJ. There is really nothing specific about the mech that you have to worry about.

they are all good, IMO, but the shadowcat 1st :) with the speed tweak and masc buff, you can go as fast as an arctic cheeter! (nearly)

The stormcrow is pretty legit, Hunchback 2C I see a lot in CW spouting dakka loadouts, because it's got a nice tonnage to go with typical clan Drop Decks.

Edit: if it were me, I would master the shadow cat, not because I think it's good or anything, but because it's my favorite mech in Mechwarrior.

I like the Nova. With the upcoming re-scaling it will get 18% smaller and actually be the size of a medium. I have one Elited and two more to with completed basics but I have been running other Mechs recently. I also have 3-6 Vipers incoming in a couple months if I decide to keep the pre-order.

I tried the Trial Stormcrows and just could not get comfortable piloting them.
