The first season is good but half way through season two it became the best show I have ever seen in my life.

that one scene alone has to be one of the top 10 death scenes on TV. each season from season one on has just gotten better and better. if this season follows suit, they are going to need a truck to haul all the emmy awards it's going to get.

if i recall the season that is just starting is supposed to be the last.

anyone know of anyplace where a copy of yesterday's episode can be found?

Breaking Bad has to be one of the best shows on TV. Each season manages to just get crazier and crazier. Can't wait for season 5 except I hope they go back on their word and make a season 6!

It really is an outstanding show, and crazy to see how far the main characters have come from season 1. I'm especially a fan of Saul Goodman that guy is great at bringing the comic relief.

You honestly should start at series one though (and with the internet there's no reason why that can't be done in a weekend :)).

It's not so much that there's references you won't understand, like with some shows, but simply that you won't get to appreciate how the characters have developed from something totally different at the start.

I think that's why many people love it so much (myself included).
You just don't get good character development like this outside of books any more..

I just finished watching the first season and loved it, so I guess I know what I'll be spending my evening watching :)

Decent show. I'm watching it via netflix so I am behind on the storyline. Which means I have to be careful when reading threads like this.

I started season one on a whim via netflix on Friday while doing some work from home. I'm now about half-way through season four, with the first episode of season five waiting for me on the DVR. "I am NOT in danger...I AM the danger!" :-D

Alright, I did the whole thing from zero to season 5 episode 1 ... all I gotta say is: wow. This show definitely sets new standards and blows pretty much everything else clean out of the water. I haven't seen anything to date which can even remotely compare, it's that good.

Thanks to you guys for selling me on this one. I'll be keeping tabs on it for sure
