Here's something I've compiled for those of you that might need to know what ranks are available for the military of House Steiner...

Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth (AFFC)
The ranking system of the AFFC is a merger of the Davion and Steiner systems. The ranks, going from highest to lowest, are as follows:

Officer Ranks:
Marshal of the Armies (General of the Armies, highest rank before Archon)
Field Marshal (Head of State Command)
Marshal (Head of Operations Theater Area)
Hauptmann General (Head of Core Areas)
Leftenant General (Head of Regimental Combat Team)
Colonel (Senior Regimental Commander)
Leftenant Colonel(Regimental Commander)
Hauptmann Kommandant (Senior Battalion Commander)
Kommandant (Battalion Commander)
Hauptmann (Company Commander)
First Leftenant (Senior Lance Commander)
Leftenant (Lance Commander)

Warrent Officers (techs that fix mechs):
Chief Warrent Officer
Senior Warrent Officer
Warrent Officer First Class
Warrent Officer

Enlisted Ranks

Sergeant Major
Staff Sergeant
Sergeant
Corporal
Private
Recruit

I'd love to hear about any corrections that might be made to this listing. Always room for improvement...

I have those ranks up (with the appropriate graphics and detailed descriptions) on my new website: http://www.skye-rangers.net/ranks (sourced/cited from the old Battletech sourcebooks).

Medals and nobility titles are also posted there under LAAF Insignia... http://www.skye-rangers.net/insignia

I will be getting the planets and Lyran history up in the next few days as well.

Enjoy...!

.../salute
