I wouldn't be shocked if it (and the April 1st announcement) were the results of one of two things:

Employees rushed and stressed out because the "lean leadership" has earned those wonderful glassdoor reviews (and 48% approval)
or
Employees spiting said lean leadership on purpose.

This is beginning to be a trend...

Oh this is gold and not a surprise. I can't believe I never thought to check this out. Thanks for bring it to my attention.

I'd be careful placing too much faith in online reviews of anything.

Happy customers are happy. They often don't see any need to post anything because they see nothing wrong and aren't motivated enough to make the effort.

Unhappy customers often have an axe to grind, misinterpret things, and are motivated to "get even". Bout the only time I really trust things I read online is if they are consistently bad.

Glassdoor is about the people that work for companies rating said companies. Nothing to do with customer reviews. It is a very solid place to get a perspective of a work environment and tells a lot about a company. I went from a very low rated company to one of the top 6 listed as best places to work and it was very noticeable. Reading reviews of every company I worked for on glassdoor has rung extremely true. I put a lot of weight on it based on my experiences.

CEO approval rating of 48% is horribad. My company is enormous, somewhere around 9000 employees and in the top 6 best rated places to work in comparison. The CEO Approval rating is 98%. Just goes to show you that the top of the house really matters. If you have derpdy derps running things you get minimally viable mediocrity at best.

Oh, I'm not saying don't trust it......consistently bad as I said.

You just have to read between the lines and pick out the dirt.

Initially, the text even said April 1st.

But honestly: it's a little harsh to say paying attention to details is PGI's problem.
Do you always get EVERY detail right in your work?

You see, the problem here is perception:
(Just some arbitrary numbers, no statement about the actual quality level)
There are 10.000 details PGI has to take care of.
Say 10 of them slip through (which would be awesome near-perfection performance)

We see only the 10 details that slipped through, of course. Not the 9990 that were covered correctly.

Then "guys like you" (sorry) say/act like "Of all the 10 details that are wrong, 10 are wrong. That's 100%! What a crappy corporation. They never get it right.".

Mistakes happen. If that was our biggest problem in MWO, it would have long achieved global gaming domination.

The actual problem you write about is one of perception and interpretation. On your end.

Unless you do every little detail in your work always perfectly right, I suggest to cut back on the arrogance.

I actually get paid to get every detail right...

That literally is my job.

So, if I'm reading between the lines correctly here.....you don't work at PGI?
