I just don't find a single AMS to be worthwhile. Maybe if they were effective against SRMs, I would equip them more often.

How about you?

If in a given night I find myself fighting in the shade, I equip AMS.

If I am not finding I am fighting in the shade a lot I don't.

Zero. I prefer they waste their LRM ammo into the ground and buildings due to Radar Derp instead of me wasting my AMS ammo tonnage shooting their missiles down...

The only time lrms are threatening is when you are in a slow assault, out of position and 3 to 5 enemy lrm carriers concentrate their fire on you. Ams wouldnt help in that situation either way

LRM is a non issue for me, cover op, mech driving is lost tech.

I have 312 mechs and an extensive inventory of parts. I sell AMS whenever I end up owning it, I'm just annoyed I can't sell the ammo. It's garbage.

I have 1 mech with ams, and it has 3 - Uller. Of course I never actually use it. I have like 50 mechs total.

All my mechs that have two or more AMS slots equip them + AMS overload. Certain mechs lacking slots but not tonnage also equip single AMS.

The vast majority of my mechs have arms, i cant be bothered to count but i have very few armless mechs, maybe the Jenner?
