So 'Faction Sale' which is "50% off Faction Colors and Faction Cockpit Items"

Is actually: "50% off Permanent Faction Patterns"?


Because, from this it looks like there are no cockpit items on sale, that there are no faction colors on sale, and the sale ends the day before it is supposed to.

This isn't a complaint about PGI giving us a sale of some kind, it is merely an observation...this sale would make a lot more sense if the faction patterns were available on all the appropriate mechs (clan patterns applicable to all clan mechs, IS patterns applicable to all IS mechs). As it right now most of the mechs I would like to put these patterns on either do not have support for the patters, already have the patterns (due to pre-orders) or are not in the game yet. Additionally for some reason it appears the only clan faction pattern on sale is Jade Falcon, the other 3 appear to be regular cost.
I also think it might be a good idea to either put mechs on sale so we can "load up" for faction play and maybe even mechbays too...colors and patterns are always great to see on sale but without anything to put them on...anyhow, thanks for the thought, see you all in the town hall tonight

Faction colors and cockpit items are all 50% off for the entire duration of the event.

Permanent Faction Pattern Unlocks are 50% off, but each faction has a different start and end date for the sale. For each specific faction, look up the dates in the chart.

Why go round-robin on the days the faction stuff goes on sale? Thats not a particularly great idea. Some factions having to wait a week in order to buy their stuff on sale?

When these patterns came out I thought great, months on I can't help but think only an idiot goes into battle painted in bright colours.

Much rather see the king crab and the Resistance mech able to use standard camo's and have them on sale

fair enough, but how does this make the patterns unlock-able for all mechs?

The twitch streams have showed the texture artists working on updating the old mechs that lack full camo support ... it's coming, just a matter of time.

No real way to answer that question I'm afraid. If you happen to have a similar color already, then you don't need the faction color. You can filter by colors currently on sale in the camospec screen, then see if any look good to you. Then maybe scan through all the regular price colors to see if any similar looking ones are cheaper. Go from there and try not to go broke

I don't like spending more than 500MC on colors personally. The opportunity cost in mech bays is too much

Hey, can you folks help me locate the faction camo for my raven?
I have some MC I wanna spend and can't for the life of me figure out where the raven faction camos are located.

The MC I pay real money for is reserved for... IDK, something more useful than a color.

Seriously, mechbay sale please. Can't even farm free mechbays from faction hopping anymore, and its been months since the last sale. Or, alternately, just permanently drop the mechbay price and sell them like candy all day.
