A faction shouldn't have to be on a border to attack another faction. This is interplanetary combat. Some factions can't even choose to fight clan w/out going through IS and that is just silly.

This would be fixed if they would just let factions that are in "traditionally allies" status and not currently at war to participate in each other's attack lanes. Just let the faction that attacked have the planet but the units that did it have the tags.

Immersion: Logging in at around 6:30 PM EDT and noticing that there where only 8 Unit players on, FW had a handful more qued up in endless waiting, and most other unit players via TS where busy playing other games.
I went back to Witcher 3 Blood and Wine and slaughtered an entire pack of drowners in PGI's honor.

Immersion is alive and well.
Go click on the "GAME" tab up top. Read the whole page. See? Now you are immersed.
Of course, if you actually play the game, that immersion is blown. But hey, you can't have everything.

Oh we could do that. According to lore only jumps until 50 lightyears were safe. Anything beyond could lead to insta death. So we make any attack possible but you roll a dice 20 and have an insta loss without a match when you roll anything below 20 and lose 5 mio
..
