Thanks for the vids. I missed the first half and was hopping to hear a quick mention about the new heat system replacing ghost heat as mentioned originally 2 town halls ago.

Nobody wrote a summary this time and I haven't seen any discussion of anything that was discussed except concerning the Night Gyr.

Was the Night Gyr the only new information in this Town Hall?

Someone bookmark the part where he basically says he doesn't care about feedback anymore please.

Anymore?

If he or anyone there had the audacity to actually engage with the playerbase they could acquire useful feedback rather than hacked up garbage from twitter.

Yeah, he should have kept his personal twitter, ya know, personal. Mediocre™ idea.

New heat scale was mentioned. Sadly the "net code" buzz word was used as to it working, but at least it hasn't been completely abandoned. It isn't Knock Down 2.0.

Oh god the heat scale thing sounds like they are wasting so much time. Use development time more wisely please.

Edit x2

I always get excited about the future of this game reading the notes for town halls.

This one was no different. Posted Image

Question: What is the status on information warfare? Answer: Stream dying, apparently. Comes back semi-intermittent, sorry. Russ: I don't buy the theory that we don't have information warfare. Rest of answer missed

^ Well that was just funny in its entirety.

The only things I really noticed as improvements coming with a quick read - Multiple drop decks (after a year +), Command Wheel, and they "plan" on beginning to treat CW as a beta product and update it more often. Oh, and he's at least considering further reducing the CW buckets to ISvClan so people can more consistently find matches.

Other highlights -
Long tom was built with old code....
Can't decide if a more complex game would turn off the casual players (how about you solicit their feedback?)
New heat system would somehow make hit detection seem worse.
Russ doesn't understand that CW can be more inclusive than 4v4 or Invasion - concerning the many calls for implementing the quick play queue/modes. - my opinion, the resulting problem when you design the end game system for the play system.

Not bad overall, but seems like a lot of time was spent when the little info provided could have just been typed into a forum post in 30 minutes. Still think a lot more could be accomplished by weekly/bi-weekly/daily posts from the devs than a once a month 3 hour session that provides so little.
