The scouting match score makes no sense. The object is to collect intel, but that does nothing for your match score. You can gather 10 or more points, get the the dropship and win, and still only get 30 or so match points.
Why have a game mode, where the whole idea is not enough to get you any needed match points? I am at the point where I no longer care about the points, take a hard hitting medium, and go for the kills. Same game, just lighter weight limit with 4 people.
Just strange how trying to play the intent of the game mode, nets you nothing at the end of the match.
