Hey PGI.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to add a "VR Camera" option, with obvious VR implementation and compatibility. I currently game on 3 screens, which gives me obviously a vision advantage as my FOV is larger than single monitor players, but I find myself wanting more some times. Of course, there are certain mechs I don't even play (Atlas comes to mind) because you can only see out of a small porthole in front of yourself, and my side screens are cockpit views.
I also believe this could boost your player base, and give a cool aesthetic to championship games (VR Pilots), as the pilot in game is seemingly wearing some type of mixed reality headset already, evident by the entire screen going Night Vision/Thermal when you turn the features on rather than just the windows of the mech. I know the game already has a camera in game for the pilot, evident by the ability to look around while shut down, as well as certain animations during drops.
I think it would be a great improvement in the "immersion" aspect of the game.
Vr Implementation?

Kind of surprised this got no comments.
Is this really not something that sounds cool?

It's something they've been talking about for a couple years, and tested several times.
So I'm sure it'll happen.
Might be just weeks away, might be years. Can't ever tell with PGI...
