I don't understand why they still let trial mechs into FW. You're pretty much setting yourself up for failure. The only bar that they should have set for FW is to bring 4 of your own mechs.

Now this starts to make sense, but then the events, which are ultimately providing variety to the community and are aimed at keeping people playing, would be locked out to a lot of new people.

It would be an idea to have a few other games apart from Scout, Invasion and Defend, each with their own seperate reward table during events and open to trial mechs.

Vanilla Clan mechs obviously outclass vanilla IS mechs, which in Scout missions isn't too big a deal as it's 4v4 and because there's more than one way to accomplish the objective. In 12v12 Defend or Invasion missions that difference is amplified to the point where it throws the game.

A greater variety of 4v4, progressing to 8v8, then 12v12 perhaps?

If you see folks doing well with your tag send them an invite. Notice what good players are in what groups. Try to follow and team with those folks.

Most online games are the equivalent of the better players all choosing to play on the same team and leave the rest to fend for themselves.

Last comment aside, I do know QQ is currently Steiner and they have some good helpful folks, hit them up or join the faction voip.

NEVER EVER EVER SCOUT BY YOURSELF unless you know you are joining a group. May get lucky sometimes, but not worth it.
