Maybe i`m being slow, but figuring out when i`m supposed to be grabbing Data and getting out or stopping the enemy taking the Date BEFORE mission launch is very difficult.

You see, I`ll see a planet that`s held by Davion, so it seems logical that WE (as I`m davion) should be stopping scouts, but often it`s the other way around, which don`t seem to make sense.

Often I will take a light mech, expecting to move fast to get the info, then find I`m actually meant to be stopping the enemy!

I stare and stare at the screen, trying to see the obvious indicater, telling me what we`re doing, but it always ends up being different to what I expect.

Can someone point out where I`m going wrong?

Upper right corner, above the listing of your team, should say the type of mission. Once you see that it is gather intel or defend, then modify your drop deck as desired.
