We already have the Beginnings of a True Lobby with LFG,
the Catch is it Only Allows us to Make Groups & doesnt work with Private Matches,
this can be expanded to give us a Full and True Lobby system,
=Quick Play Matches=
for the most part wont change, you will still fill the Quick play Que,
and after your match be returned to the Mech Lab after, as is now,
=Lobby System & Changes to Matches=
a New Button Next to Quick Play(Lobbies) will allow players to Access the Lobby system,
it will show all Matches Active and how many players are in those lobby Rooms,
Here a Player Can Choose to Drop into a Match,

the Biggest change is that Matches wont always been 12v12, but 8v8 to 12v12
this is how Drop-in Drop-out Could work, within MWO without re-spawns,
(Matches can be 8v8 or 9v9 or 10v10, or 11v11, of 12v12, even 8v12)

First, Matches cant be Launches until 8v8 is achieved,
then Players may Join, to Populate the Match but can only Spectate,
as they dont yet have a team they cant use Voip, or Chat,

after the match is over the MM keeps all Players in the Lobby,
but shuffles where they are balancing the teams out for better play,

After is a Lobby Screen opens(Lobby Screen is much like the Group Screen)
Players are given 30Seconds to Balance the Team Tonnage for the Next Match,
this Tonnage is more Relaxed than Group Que, but will be tonnage based,

this allows for Players to Drop in and out of Matches,
and allows matches to start 67% full, easing tension on the Match Maker,
=Match and Lobby Balance=
First Skill, if you Jump into the Lobby room, Rooms you dont have the skill for wont be displayed,
this means if a T5 player clicks the Lobby button they will see only Rooms they have the Skill to Enter,
this is to make sure a T5 PLayer cant Accidently Join a Match that is full of T1 Players,
Player Groups will count as the Avrage Player Level(1T5 + 3T3 + 1T1 = T3Group)

When one side has more Players the MM will give the Smaller Side More Tonnage,
this allows the System to Balance a 8v12 Match as the 8 will have much more tonnage,
(Groups will not be broken up in the Lobby Shuffle, so the MM will Balance Tonnage)
(a 4Man joining 2x8Mans would result in a 8v12, as so the 8man get more Tonnage)
=Lobbies=
when jumping into the Lobby Screen(Lobby Button Next to Quick Play),
the player will see a long list of Available Lobbies(Filters will help in Navigation)

PGI hosted Lobbies(ones with set unchanging Rules) would a Facet,
these would include:
1) Random Lobbies(for any player wanting to Play anything),
2) Only Mode Rooms(Rooms with only One Mode in Play(Skirmish, Conquest, ect),
3) Only Map Rooms(Rooms with only Certain map types(Sniping=Alpine/Polor),

Premium Permanent Lobbies(ones Players rent with Real Money)
these Lobbies have the Rules of who ever has Created them initially,
these will always be available and always active as long as they are payed for,
they remain Active even if 0 players are Currently inside the Lobby,
They may be Named and Even can be Given a short Description,
(Ex, Name= -MS- Skirmish Room!)

these Lobbies have the Rules of who ever has Created them initially,
they are only active wail players are currently inside them,
they will disappear if 0 players are inside the Lobby,
They may be Named but cant be given a Description,
(Ex, Name= Bobs Premium Skirmish Room!)
(Discription= N/A)

Private Lobbies(ones Players Create that are Private)
these Lobbies have the Rules of who ever has Created them,
however only Game Modes can be Changed not Maps,
they will disappear if the Creator leaves the Lobby,
They may be Named but cant be given a Description,
They also can be given a Password as they are Private
(Ex, Name= Jims Private Room!)
(Password= 1223(Only Numbers can be used in Passwords)
(Discription= N/A)
