A setting where a murdered suspect on a planet like say, New Avalon, leads to a detective uncovering a cult seeking to usher into the universe a being from another dimension. And the detective has to race against the clock to find all the rifts on New Avalon and close them while keeping their sanity in check and body preserved from the vicious attacks from both the creatures seeping through the rift.

A bit of cosmic horror to the backdrop of Battletech. What do you think?

I think it sounds interesting, and I'd watch it if it was a movie, but I don't think it'd be good on here imo.
