if it is active it will say in the bottom left corner in the Mechlab, on the this site it will tell you on your profile how much banked premium time you have.
if you have banked premium time I strongly recommend activating it through your profile, as you can activate 30 day increments rather than all of it which happens if you click activate ingame.

I was going to ask, can you turn it on and off? I've been "winning" a day or two here and there and I often feel like I'm wasting my time.

The time you win is activated as soon as it is redeemed. No time, once activated, can be turned off.

Only the large blocks of time that come with the Mech packs are bankable. Those can be turned on in 30 day increments, but as Bilbo says, once it's activated, it can not be turned off.

it activates as soon as it is claimed, it is claimed and activated when you next go back to the home screen/Mechlab after earning it, if you know you are going to earn it this match and do not want it to go to waste, quit the game before leaving the match([Alt] [F4] from the end of round screen) and it should not be claimed until you next login

OK, I hate to ask this question.
Does it only run when you are in missions or OMFG does it also run while you WAIT 10 minutes for a load out and also when you are just sitting there playing with your mech design.

premium time is always running while you have it activated, regardless of if you are in the game or in the Mechlab, or at work

What RougeJedi said. If you got 24 hours of premium time and then logged off the game all day, the time is still running and basically wasted.

OMG........Wow.........Thanks for telling me that. So when I get my Kodiak and 30 days PT (I nixed the 60 days option) it will run all the time for 30 days.
30 day is 720 hours of "play". But if you play a whole 6 hours every day then it is only 180 hours (4 hours a day which is more normal but still a lot means only 120 hours).
So buying 720 hours of playing time really equals about 100-200 hours over 30 days of playing time. And that is if you do nothing else but play this game. In other words, while I'm play one of my Total Wars games, I'm paying for this game. I'm in the garden, the clock is still rolling. I'm SLEEPING and it is still rolling....
This info should be somewhere easier to find but I 100% understand why it is not.
I would not mind but I live on $733.00 month and yes, i understand the game is free to play...

as I understand it the always running premium time is pretty standard for free to play games, however Mechwarrior draws in people who would often not go for f2p online games, which I suspect is the cause if the misunderstanding.
