Personally, I think clan is still somewhat ahead since the buffs of targeting computers and masc, and the reduction of many energy quirks on the IS side. Further, the lrms of the clans are half the size, same for machine guns, flamers. And from a person who has played on both sides, it is still in favor of clans, with the exception of a few IS mechs.

To anyone who thinks an Atlas can take on a Dakawhale and live to tell the tale.. give it 2-3 seconds.. oh, is that a gaping whole in your CT Atlas?
Or perhapse an Atlas taking on a laservomit Direwolf? Same thing.. Or the 12 CERPPC insta-kill megameta build? (I think its the Nova Whale or something like that?)
Believe me.. when facing a direwolf.. the atlas needs all the internal structure it can get.. and it still doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell..
