Now scouting mode looks like this in 90%... Premade vs single players - easy points and wins for premades, farm place for c-bills and XP.Posted Image Do something with it, pls. Like some checker - ok, that guy and this guy from 1 clan = put them in different teams, if they don't in group. If that and that guy in friends - do the same. If they was friends less than 1 day ago = put them in different teams. Because groups play - for groups play, single play - for singles.

Faction play is meant for teamplay oriented people. Either live with being the lone underdog against premades or get some friends together to form your own premade. Faction chat is also a posibility to get a quick group going, in-game voip helps organize in-match, etc., etc..

They tried having split queues for solos and premades in FP, it didn't work out so they switched back. Not enough people playing.

They need to do an all inclusive solo queue where you don't have to choose a faction, you can just go either Clan or IS. Would work much better than the old iteration in which they THOUGHT was a good idea.

Since I fought (and lost) 2 battles with Mimi yesteday evening, and, as a proof , my nickname is between the casualties on the screenshot posted above, I would add my personal thougth about the scout game mode from a casual week-end player perspective.
I've been forced by myself to play (most part losing) at least 60 battles in this ridicoulous game mode just to get the reward of 100MC. In fact I had already lost interest and will to play when I was about at 30 battles played, but, since I was halfway I decided to hold my nose and go on till 60.
I tried to use my maxed-out and elite variants of Enforcers in these battles, equipped with AC20 and MLS, or LBX10 and MPLS, or the vomit LPLS x 3, but apart from some lucky battles there was nothing to do. Maybe it's the high ping (playing on NA servers from Italy), maybe I just sucks at piloting, or shooting, or maybe I had so urge to kill some StreakCrows to put my Mech in dangerous and fatal situations. Well in the end I just feel I was rewarded 100MC to entertain lots of Clan players. They even try to hearthen me saying things like "Don't give up?" "It's not impossible" "One day you'll be stronger", I don't care what they say, I'm not a crybaby, I simply leave a game when " frustration > fun " .
I will never ever play a scout game at this point because it makes no sense: +5 faction loyalty, +0 cbills and +10tons of frustration.
In the end, another bad thing I found, is that when trying to enter quick play these past few days, the time to get a match is sensibly increased. I really hope that this beaviour change when the "prove allegiance 2" event ends, bringing more players back to quick battles.

every I.S. Faction will have at least one world and sometimes two where you're facing another I.S. faction. Stick to those if you can't deal with clan mechs.

As long as Steiner attack the Clans, no Steiner Loyalist will fight against IS-Mechs (only this freelancer thing.. seems to be very rare). I hope after this stupid event we are going to attack IS to get balanced games for our pugs and get rid of the stormcrows and the [Long Tom] Problem. Will it bring fun into this new mode? I am not sure :-(

I don't know that they switched it back. Idiotic idea, I think that better when groups for groups, singles for singles. At last it can be in scout mode, where only 4 vs 4.
Teamplay? Not in this mode. In most battles teamplay looks like "oh! Enemy! let's go to them 1 by that they kill us easly". So this mode is just farm-mode for premade and this state need to be fixed.
And about "play with this with your friends or clan members". You even thought that some people can't play with friends or clan? Somebody don't like people, some don't have time to it, some just want to play 1-2 games and etc. In my case, most of my friends from RL or from other games are don't play in such games. Trying to find someone to coop - failed too, because of 1) my bad English 2) my bad talking on English by voice 3) because im Russian and some players for some reason don't like Russians.

And special for guys from clans and is premades, who ssooo love to write something like "so fast", "so easy", "it was "hard"", "try to pump your mech" & etc - I wish that you will play always in uncoordinated crowd vs coordinated team

Don't get me wrong Mimi but if you don't like/can't play in a coordinated groups than you should consider to avoid the 4v4 scouting completly atm because its more like comp play than the other game modes. If you only want to play 1 or 2 games you can stick with the quick play.

Choosing the right mechs with the right builds is essential as well as focus fire and a decent tactic. SCRs go down like a charm when your team focuses legs. I know its hard to coordinate a full lance of PUG players but it can be done, e.g. use the ingame Voip.

I normally drop with 3 other guys from my unit against Clans and IS and we are winning more than loosing against pug or groups. And most of our guys are more like tier4/5 than tier1/2. Feel free to join the kurita ts and look for other guys to play with.

no one farms XP and cbills in scouting, its way to inefficient for this. people like MS make this for the long tom and easier invasion.

also, you play an MMO, get some friends and a grp to play with. This does not require some magical socialising skills.

I can play in group. But in most time my team - can't, becouse most of them are uncoordinated people, who play how they want. Voice? Ok, if i say something like "цели в Джэй 6, идут в Джэй 7" - u understand me? Of course not. If you talk on some english dialect or with interference like some noise - i just don't understand you, if you try to tell me.
I tried to coordinate sometimes people by chat - but, it more slow, people in most time don't read it or just don't want to be coordinated. Just play with pugs about 5-10 matches in this mode and you understand this.
And please, if you can talk on Eng - don't think that ALL people can talk on it.
I like this mode, becouse it need COORDINATION, but not in such state like now.
So - i play in scout now only because of this event. After - i don't play in it anymore till they fix some balance.

I don't know, how it can be inefficient if u can farm in 5-10 min about 200k c-bils and more, if you play in coordinated team. I played with such team 2-3 times, so - hello, easy money.
About "socialising" - again, if i said to u "привет, как дела? Пошли поиграем." and etc on my language by voice - i don't think that u understand me. And if i try to said this on Eng, by voice of course, - it will be the same result.

anyway - i play a lot in this mode, i saw how it looks like when you play with pugs and most of such games - pugs vs premade. Yes, sometimes i play pugs vs pugs and even coordinated team vs premade and coordinated team vs pugs. But most - more 70% - this is game pugs vs premade. And in this mode is preferable to implement 2 queues - for singles ( checks on "in group" and "same clan" and "friends") and for groups.

-MS- problems

most people in scouting do go solo. If that little oversized Unit goes to a factions starting mass scouting this is what you get because suddnely there are like 10x4 people ready to drop at the jaguars due to MS's size.

Also, use another mech, something properly, not an ENF.

Still Public games grant you more money/time, because no wait for drops, no possible hide and seek, and many matchs end within a few minutes too.
