So it seems i can't get a drop in anything heavier than 35 tons in the solo queue, and then i have to wait anything up to 10 mins to get a game in that weight class.

Seriously! whats going on?!

Who have i p!ssed off at PGI to get myself sent to MM purgatory?! and what do i have to do to get out of it?!!!.

OR

Is the majority of the player population that F'ing bad at this game, that its ended up in me being very restricted in what i can play.

OR

Is the player population so dangerously low, that some players just won't be able to find matches in the majority of mechs and weight classes?.

I can play WoWs, it has a player counter don't you know!, and even when the population on the EU server is at around 1200 players, i still get a game in under 30 seconds!.
Yeah their MM is craptastic too, but hey atleast you get matches fast.

PGI, please explain to me why i should spend money on this game on items i won't be able to use?
PGI please explain to me why i currently seem to be averaging 1 game an hour, due to search times?
PGI do you even care?.

What regional severs do you have Enabled? Also, the Assault queue is usually as low as the light queue... Same problems there?

EU and NA servers selected, everything outside of lights results in "Searching for a match Online".
Can't even remember the last time i was able to drop in my Timber Wolf or Hellbringer, hell even my Cicada's are unplayable!.
Sold all my Orion IIC's cos i can't get games in them, paid money for them and can't even get the basics done.
In fact i have quite a few mechs i paid money for and can't get to unlock their skill trees.

Frustrated, feeling ripped off, and disgusted at the scrubs who get to run what they want and fail to do more than 50 damage in!.

I'm not having too many problems finding matches here in the middle.

But PGI hasn't shown me any reason to spend money on this game in well over a year now.

When I run out of my current MCs buying bays, I don't know what I'll do.

Been like this for me for months, basically last night was the first night i've played in almost 2 months, and the reason i haven't played in that long is due to my wait times.
Spend an hour in MWO and get one or two games in a weight class and mech i don't want to play or play something else and get a full hours worth of playing.

That's weird. I only play heavies nowadays and I never wait more than 2 minutes during non-primetime hours like high noon (eastern) on a Monday. I usually get 6+ matches an hour no matter what time I play.

Meh, i came to the conclusion a long time ago that the Match Maker has hidden elements we have never and will never be told about, and this results in not all players being treated the same by the MM.
Why its this way, i have no idea, only PGI knows and they aren't telling.
So it seems i'm essentially being forced out of the game, that makes me deeply sad, ggclose PGI, i got rekt!.

IDK bout you, but I was catching my 4 and 5th viewings of that instead of dealing with annoying weekend population online.

Past 1am eastern time the waiting increase dramatically and everything that goes with it. I just mention that because i saw you last night and pretty sure you were late. I wanted to put the blame on the 50% heavy queue preventing other weight class to fill holes and drop faster but i saw the same heavy names all night(at least 2, easy to remember because of their one trick pony loadout), it's just lower population.

I hope nothing is done this time when people ***** that waiting time is too long, last time we got removal or game mode choice, per player tiering and a voting system, i dont want to know what they would do next.


I miss many voting now because im back to the old habit of alt-tabbing and reading the web while the MM is searching.

Low population = long wait times. Besides the fact and I've said this before, a MM has no place in a game like this and it further exacerbates the problem.

I have EU and NA enabled as well.
I have the same tier as you.
I wait between 2 seconds and sometimes 2 minutes for any weight class.
No idea what you're doing wrong. Maybe press the Quickplay button more gently .

I also think it has elements we dont know about. Mainly because i often see conquest but not skirmish and i see people complain they never get conquest :/ I dont see Frozen as often as Therma too which i cant believe it but i actually like it(for now at least). But i would assume those secret element would go away when the pop gets low.

I play lights and meds. I sold all my fatties because of the % and wait time. with meds and lights its around 12% only seen a high of like 23% before. I get into solo games in well under 30 sec.

I play what ever class at what ever time and have had no problems getting a match at all. Small wait times in faction play invasion defense as a solo player but that's about it. Unless this changed since yesterday this topic is a troll topic.

I'm going to play a match in my heavy Marauder right now to check.

Match starting now. 20 seconds wait time. This isn't a busy time either. No I don't show my tier one or my top rank that I got 6 month or more ago.

Hey Dayleet, you did see me on late last night, it was my third attempt that day to try getting some games in, i had tried late afternoon and then early evening.
Both attempts i eventually gave up and went and played WoWs instead.

Yeah i saw you once at least and pretty sure it was close to my last game of the night. There was a server fkup last night too where everyone got stuck in loading map and you had to alt-f4 and rejoin. Those games where half your team is disco.

There's still an even going on, i thought it closed last week:/ event times are always bad.

I don't really get it, OP. I do think that wait times are longer than they have been in quite some time, but I've never seen a 10 minute wait time for Quick Play. I'm in the same tier as you are and pilot every class except lights. I might see a 4 minute wait - nothing more than that.
