We already have skill bonuses for sensor range, seismic, ams, ect. I'd like to see skill unlocks for ECM, BAP, Tcomp, command computer, and MASC. skills could include:

ecm range
bap range
tcomp bonus improvement
command computer bonus improvement
masc duration
masc speed bonus

I'd also like to see combo bonuses for having multiple types of equipment on a mech. by equipment, i mean ECM, AMS, TAG, NARC, Tcomp, MASC, ARTEMIS, BAP, artillery strike, air strike, uav, jump jets, and Command computer. combo bonuses should have a logical correlation between the equipment used. examples include:

tcomp + bap= 360 degree target info retention within range of bap
tcomp + tag = bonus crit chance on unarmored target hit with lrm/srm
tcomp + narc = bonus crit chance on unarmored target with any weapon system
tag + narc = bonus crit chance on unarmored target hit with lrm/srm
uav + tcomp = bonus to all tcomp stats
tag + artillery/airstrike = bonus damage to mech targeted
narc + artillery/airstrike = bonus damage to mech targeted
tcomp + ams = bonus to damage per missile
tcomp + artemis = tcomp stats added to all missiles
ecm + masc = ecm in both disrupt/counter mode while masc is active
tcomp + masc = reduces reticle shake when masc is active
tcomp + jump jets = reduces reticle shake when jump jets are active
ecm + bap = extended effective range of both components

thoughts? opinions?

I quite like the idea in general.,

I like the idea of combos except that as they are suggested in the OP they are a way for Clans to get bonuses, even if we were to change the targeting computer items to TC or Command Console the Clans would still get significant advantages because TC1+ cAP is 2 tons, 2 slots while CC+BAP is 4.5 tons 3 slots, and cannot go on anything lighter than 60 tons.

here is an example of possible amendments to make it more fair
tc1+bap = 360 target retention at 40 m, tc2 = 80, tc3 = 160 tc4 or CC+Bab gets 240m, continue in increments until tc7 gets 500m
tag/Narc+air/arty strike, increased likelihood a bomb/shell will land on the enemy Mech provided it is inside the target area.
BAP+Tag = increased TAG range
Tcomp + TAG on target gives a 30% bonus to Tomp stats

I agree, theres a lot of variability to the combos for the clans. at the same time, many complain that the clans are boringly OP due to the massive numbers of weapons they load on their mechs. The point of this system is to encourage diversity in gameplay and roles that players take. encourage the use of advanced electronics like most mechwarriors would. the point was to be as efficient as possible, taking as little damage as possible while dealing as much as possible.

This system adds incentives to not just load up on all weapons, max out tonnage on alpha strikes. This rewards the players who take a more tactical view.
