cicada 3m is the instrument to a new awakening to all human race. The person who has piloting it must have transcended into another level of consciousness, because only the chosen humans can pilot cicada 3m, with its agility, enormous speed, thunderous uac/5 mounted in its torso, must have changed its pilots, thus they will begun to experienced "enlightment" in their lives, and they will start to "awaken" their sixth's sense. A new ability which an old soul like me called it, "Newtypes" are such pilots which has managed to control their ego, and become a jedi of MWO.

3m is meh. Spider 5D is where it's at. But not the wimpy sniper build. Load it with 3 mplas.

that explains a few things.
I learned in the Cicada, although at the time it was brand new to MWO and I was using an LB10 rather than a UAC5 in it

after mastering the Cicadas I have gone on to play many other Mechs, my favourites are the Warhammer Black Widow, Firestarter Ember, Griffin 3M and Spider ^{(I love all but Anansi)} but the SDR-5V is my absolute favourite Mech, I have yet to gain the attachment to any Clan Mech which I have for those chassis

You know that standing beside damaged fusion engines is a risque for serious radiation poisoning....yes ?

And heatsinks fluid is indeed quite toxic drinking it is bad for you.

what I like about MWO is that you will go out on a battlefield and learn to assessed the situation, for me that is everything. You spoilt the fruit if you're strategy turned out to be wrong, and the opposite if you're good at making decision, whether to shoot or stand back. Cicada - 3m can sneak behind any enemies and dakka their back. Then you will become a master jedi.

Spider 5D is also a good mech, I own both the SPD-5D and the CDA-3M. I prefer the Spider for scouting in quick play or for the scouting game mode in CW as long as I am taking the "grab intel and run; avoid fights at all cost" approach, although teh CDA-3M does well in that role too. I load my Spider with 2MPL and 1SPL. An extra DHS buys me more personally than the 3rd laser being another MPL.

My CDA-3M consistently put up better scores in scouting game mode for the event though, because it packs a lot more firepower while still having ECM at only ~14KPH (121.X vs 135.X KPH) slower than my Spider, at the cost of JJs. My CDA-3M will just last a lot more hits in a fight and can dish it back out harder. I used to run it as 2LL and 2ML, swapped to 2LL, 1SL and extra heat sinks recently during the event because heat was my biggest hindrance.

Heck my CDA-3M put up 1100+ Damage as my first drop in CW Invasion the other night against a fairly decent team. I have NEVER had those kind of number from my Spider 5D. I'm not saying that someone else that specializes in Lights couldn't do that, just that as much as I LOVE the Spider's maneuverability, I'll take a little extra armor and firepower of the CDA-3M if I'm aiming to fight my way out of a situation.

Yep the Cicada 3M/3F/X-5 are all awesome mechs. The 2A champion build is pretty good too.
