My favorite weapon to boat, by far, has to be medium lasers, both IS and Clam.

Obviously, IS mediums excel in this practice. I.E.: HBK-4P, BJ-1X, etc...

The Nova is the only Clam medium that I like to boat mediums on. 6 ML or 3AMS 5 ML are great fun!

Out of curiosity and the hope to find some new chassis to boat medium lasers on, I'd like you all to post your favorite IS or Clan medium laser boat builds of any kind. Please and thank you!

This is like the only build I've made that can make full efficient use of 6 ERML. At first I was doubting it would be good, I mean its only 6 tons of weaponry, 6 medium lasers at that. But the thing is its more like 35 tons of weaponry if you count the heatsinks, you actually get to use the lasers over and over again with the 42 damage they put out. You have decent range, and you can use both modules to get it to be a bit better. You also get ECM and decent speed. One side acts as the dead side, so try and shield.

First match I did with the build got over 1000 damage so I'm not complaining.

Some of these builds are atrocious, like intentionally bad just to fit medium lasers, thought they might appeal to you, that RFL - 3N build made me laugh

6 ML Locust-1E. Runs a bit hot, but if you play it like a hit-n-fade striker, it can do good damage.

Saw a guy running 8 CERML HBK-IIC-A. He was using it effectively, and alphaing all eight of them whenever heat permitted.

Seconding the 6 CERML Hellbringer, its a bundle of fun.
The Stormcrow can also do a decent job of it, favorable over the nova unless you need the JJs

For IS, most lights/mediums with enough hardpoints will do. I'm partial to the Wolfhound myself.

I've always been partial to the 3 x LLas Centurian -AL...
