the moral of this story is:

its ok to screw your brothers wife if he molested you when you were 5.

Dude, if this is actually the case I'm truly sorry for your trauma, and your brother deserves a lot worse.

I'd also bee worried about him hurting other kids.

Wow, this convo got real.

Oh wow man. Well..her and I have been together for a long time and she recently had to move. So it's new. It's hard man. So I'm going to find work there and move. She is worth it. It's funny when you love someone. Seems like the world stops. Best thing that's ever happened to me and now I have a MW TT wooooohooooo

That's great dude. Find a way to be close to her. She's worth it. <3

i dont know, in my experience you just end up mopping the floor with her, and she winds up getting upset and not wanting to play anymore and you find yourself bored. i dont think 1 on 1 quake 2 deathmatch was working for us. fortunately games back then still had coop and you didnt have to pay extra for it. just set the game on easy and shoot any strogg that tried to kill your gal. she thinks your her hero and you have a meta-challenge on top of the game itself. i cant imagine how terrible that would be in mwo. you would pretty much have to take her to the group queue, where noobs go to die. things might be better if you both join a unit.

I play Street Fighter with my wife. (the old Super Nintendo ones) I let her win half the time, but I do it subtly. She is also fond of Mortal Kombat IX.

Your task now it to open up the box, a bottle of wine, and learn the game together if she's willing. She might be giving you a hint that she'd like to spend more time with you.

I have to say thank you man.

While I know BattleTech >20years and i own the board game for almost 18 years... i always made a huge sweep around MWDA.
But thanks to your post I ordered a starter package (was happy to get one)

Its a really nice game, and much faster than the usual BT

Trust me, you don't need to let some people win. My sister is absolutely horrible at modern games, yet giver her a button masher character in a fighting game (Eddie Gordo or Christie Montiero in Tekken) and she will win. Sometimes people can surprise you, who knows, maybe she's been letting YOU win. :)

This thread amuses me. Makes me kind of grateful im a girl. Its a lot easier to find a boyfriend who will play mwo with me than the other way around. Im glad hes not overly prideful tho cuz i wreck his face at games. I wont ask him to play against me when he knows he'll lose. Tis just a lifetime of experience tho. Been playing hardcore since i was three and tho i never played table top i grew up on mw 2-4 and mech commander. Ive always loved the crap out of mechs. Its nice thats something we share.

Congrats on the girl and on the awesome gift!

Relationships are treasures and getting things outside of your birthdays/holidays is really meaningful.

One of my best friends had a long time long distance relationship and he ended up moving across the country to be with her.

They flew back here to see his family last year and we all went out to see Star Wars.

Balance must be found between relationships and gaming. My wife lets me game, way more than anyone has any right to, but I do know when to stop and catch up on "us" time.

EDIT:

LordNothing I just read what you said in the last few posts...

Thank god you're in therapy.

If any of that is true...
