I was reminded the other day, that we still can't select which mechs we get to shoot at in the Testing Grounds...and that there's very little variation.

On the Clam PTS, Mining Collective had the Clan mechs there to shoot at, but that was the last time we saw them there. (IIRC...post invasion, but I can't remember how far, the Mining test debut)

Isn't it about time we at least get one map with static Clan mech selection?
Better would be the selection of which mechs to appear on the map, and best even their location (for specific reasons)

Though, I'd settle for having one of each mech located somewhere on any map.

Mechs should ideally be randomly generated, except for the class. BTW, do we have Clan mechs in the Academy, to shoot at?

Also, MWO is MVP, yadda, yadda.

probably too much of a hassle but i always felt that if you were testing an IS-mech you would spawn clan-mechs t shoot at in Training or the other way around.
Think of it as "hey we took these from the battleground to study our weapon system effects on them...go shoot them... FOR SCIENCE!"

MCGRAL IT'S LOSTECH DEAL WITH IT >:-(

Just kidding, on the other hand, they really should.

Ain't that hard to do it, if anyone's uses MW4 Editor before, they know how easy it is to place a mech
Programming the AI though is tough AF because there's little to no instructions whatsoever with it XC

I'd rather they didn't just add clan mechs to the academy
They need to have a clan version instead

We need to be taking every opportunity to get more immersion in the game as possible

Most of us would be pretty happy in the nostalgic pants to be called wet nose by a clan instructor
Copy paste the academy over to polar highlands , give clan instructor , setup all mechs as clan
Done

Don't take the easy way out

Given their limited time and resources this should be the lowest priority.

It's great in a brawl. Really clams up when under attack. It's a tough shell to crack.
