I bumped into that guy.

He complained about playing through 10 games and having no footage for youtube.

Needless to say he wasn't getting any good footage when I saw him either.

This reminds me when I was playing Team Fortress 2 and there's kid in our team whining to mics because somehow we screwed that he "making" video or something like that.

But this is like adult version of it.

Reason why I turned off Voice a long time ago. Right after the game where some guy was trying to tell me how to shoot. My CDA did 3x more damage than his TBR.

I'm not sure why he didn't get some good footage for YouTube, I sure did.



And that with not even most Basics done. Decided to add the last HBK-IIC into my inventory after seeing that they might consider quirks for the IIC mechs. A few more games after that one I realized I left stock CT armor on it. DOAH!

Also one of the games this weekend I realized just how much I don't enjoy leveling new mechs when matched with teams like this, since I won't level them in group queue. Refunded Phoenix Hawk and Night Gyr. Awaiting confirmation now.

you want decent in game video you need a unit and private matching. Having some one that knows how to spectate and use the spectator tool helps too. This series of videos from my mech as I was in on the fun.

The PUGs really are that bad, though--oops, the matchmaker is. MWO is not a game to play when you're stressed out, nor is it one to play when you're having a great day. It can make both worse.

If you're just feeling "meh," well, then MWO is perfect for that.

So, he's trying to make gameplay footage for YouTube and his microphone is awful? Doesn't he realize that audio is an often overlooked but still very important part of the video?

I pug a LOT and this guy takes the cake for the loud annoying-VOIP guy so far. Most of the time its people complaining about how everyone should have read their minds about the cool meta-strat that wins all the games, can't aim, or are using a C-AC instead of C-UAC (gear/build issues).

Anyways people go into quick plays and expect too much. Do you know what quick play is good for? Learning the game, testing loadouts, and earning some cbills. The players do some insanely not smart **** all the time, but in the end thats where they learn in the quick play. If someone has a problem with that then as others have said join a unit, but with a mouth like that, I doubt said person would last long in said unit.

When I mess up I still use the footage and show on youtube.. Its part of a learning experience and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose its part of life...
