OK so here is the idea behind htis event. It would be a great way for people to get free heros. You ahve a week long or even month long event that requires people to complete certain tasks. For example one of the tasks could be destroy 30 clan mechs if you are an IS mech and vice versa. And have 4 or 5 of those tasks. And each time a person completes all 4 or 5 tasks they recieve the hero of a chassis of their choosing. Here's the catch though the hero they get has to be from the weight class the challenges are for so if a player is doing the tasks for a light mech then they get to choose a light mech hero and so on. Have a limit of one hero per weight class and you have yourself a fun and rewarding challenge. And all of you saying that this is abad way to do events look at games like World of Tanks and War Thunder they are the same kind of game as MWO and they do events like this once a year or so.
