Yeah, more games against each other rather than advancing towards Terra.
No. We saw what kind of garbage that generated in Phase 1. I won't go through that twice.
Because pushing to Terra for a third time is so important. Been there, done that.
That "garbage" was some of the most fun time in CW. Lots of great matches to be had. I'd welcome it back. I play to have competitive matches. I'd rather fight clans than ghost drop or pug stomp.

Sooo which clan would you like to fight Xiphias? The Clan Wolf that can barely take a Stiener world? Would that be an amazing Challenge? How about CGB who only have 4 worlds (including their homeworld) to their name and took a month to take those 2 worlds back? Would that be competitive for you? How about the paltry remains of CSJ.......you know the ones FRR and DC have let them keep after picking them apart? Is that competitive for you? You say you would rather fight clans than PUG stomp.....but to be honest any clan we would attack would literally be PUG stomping......

At the moment, no one. There just isn't enough FW population to go around and unfortunately I don't see that getting better anytime soon.
I'm just saying that a faction shouldn't avoid getting matches. Personally, I enjoy playing all of the different match-ups. I don't play a lot of FW these days. Other than grinding up the rewards tree, there just isn't really a lot of incentive for me. Most of the matches end up being pug stomps or I get stuck trying to carry a group.
Very few good team vs. team matches which is one of the things I miss from the clan vs. clan days when teams actually cared about FW.

You haven't figured out why we can't get past Icar yet, have you? I'm sure it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the quality of players in Clan Wolf or the sheer volume of trial mechs they use.
Nope, must be coincidence.

I know Will I've seen it inside the game as well, hell there was even a Merc group that came to Clan Wolf for some god known reason. He had nothing but trials and I asked him why. Quote on Quote, "He refused to buy Clan Mechs cause he didn't like Clan Mechs." Hell you can even ask all the Mercs nowadays and they even tell you its a bit of an uphill battle, or some just wont even come to Clan cause they've been in a comfy zone with their low beam duration, Low Ghost heat, and a majority of their quirks. While clans have Long Beam Duration, Ridiculous amounts of Ghost Heat, and little to no beneficial quirks.

Funny thing is....alot of IS players state that the Kodiak is OP.......it's one of the few clan mechs with decent Quirks.....

Yeah and pretty sure PGI is gonna Nerf if cause they bend their backs to the IS population. I mean hell we already have a Barn door CT what more does IS want?

Jade Falcon is fine attacking IS. They're making good progress and the IS vs Clan fight helps bolster the defensive numbers vs the big merc units there.
My point earlier was aimed more at CGB attacking Wolf.
This is an open ended universe. I don't see why Clan Loyalists are so deadset on trying to re-enact the story when PGI is doing nothing to support it. Pushing toward Terra is about as meaningful as pushing toward Kurita's homeworld. Nothing happens, there's no event, there is no reward. You can't even take Terra. Just an anti-climatic moment.
So that leaves playing for gameplay sake, which goes back to my previous point that factions should vote in the interest of finding winnable fights. Fights that will let them win planets for their unit. If you attack FRR 3 times a day for weeks straight, go no where, lose most of your matches, and can't counter the higher population of the entire inner Sphere, why keep doing it? Factions like Ghost bear and Smoke Jaguar fall apart because loyalists are forcing everyone into poor match ups.
Inner Sphere loyalists on the other hand have zero problem opening up attack lanes against one another. I've seen it several times where Jade Falcon has zero defenses because all the IS voted to attack Inner sphere.
Anyway, at the end of the day, I'm just a merc. If some of these clan factions want to circle the drain forever waiting for their Prince Charming, MS, to carry them, that's their prerogative. However until then, the smaller merc units are going to avoid the deadend factions for ones that have potential.

o.O
We just spent a week in CSJ.
I think I got a total of 3 FP drops in the entire week. I tried playing in US timezone and Oceanic. No-one ever queue'd up.
Only the occasional 12-man that would insta drop ahead of you (after waiting for 15mins), that was about it.
No one in LFG either... Yet CSJ, apparently, has a large population. I would have to say most of them must be inactive.
Total waste of time CSJ was, thankfully, we are leaving there.

Sorry, I was thinking Jade Falcon, wrote CSJ. I fixed it.
