Hello I'm an old battle tech player I used to play MPBT way back on the 90's . I am hoping to find a group that is willing to teach an old dog some new tricks, I'm not a good player but am great at doing what I'm told. That's why I have avoided going into faction fighting with out orders I end up as a dang big target.

It might help if you let people know what time zone you primarily play in.

Davion is particularly thick in NA but in OC and EU you won't have as many choices.

Any Davion you choose though will be able to give you plenty of help and advice. The first step to becoming a better mechwarrior is joining a unit, you will be on the right path shortly.

Thank you both. Honestly wasn't thinking about time zones, I'm on an irregular schedule but usually on for couple of hours around five eastern time. Longer if there is something going on or doing something actively.

Maybe you should just jump on the Davion TS and run with a few groups who play around the same time you do. Most units will take on people to play with in the public channels. See whom you get on with and go from there.

As Slide said, jump on the Davion TS and cruise around the rooms. C4 is about halfway down the list, and there's a core of folks on the east coast so 5pm EST works well. We're a bunch of older folks with crass teenage senses of humor, and some damn good pilots.

Thank you everyone, I've been dropping with the folks from C4, and having a great time. Hard not to when I got grabbed from the waiting room into the off room and patient people walking me through my first Scouting missions was an absolute blast.
