So, Kodiak is out. Which mechs are you using to fight those 100 tonners? How do Kodiaks fare compared to the Dire Wolf, when being hunted? I have not logged in yet, but I imagine my Lurm Archer will enjoy hitting that big CT of theirs. Gonna try my Lolcust on them as well. ;)

Back stabbing Oxides will probably make out OK.

yeah, they shoudl do fine. Not sure how agile they will be when unlocked, but they aren't exactly Ninjas, so quick response to flankers will probably still be a major issue.

Actually, I see it more as a team effort to take them down. Especially for the next couple weeks where there's likely to be more than one per team per drop. And, as stated above and based on some earlier advice for them to front load their armor, it's best to be behind them. Same advice as for any heavily armed mech...just more so for this one. :D

Right now everyone seems to be focusing fire on them. Hard to say if that will last.

It'll probably stop the day Kodiak players stop running 4xCUAC10 in high mounts. So... never.

100 ton Clan mechs with 10+ hardpoints or 4+ ballistics will never stop getting focus fired.

they aren't drop everything, pants on fire targets anymore, no. If there is a DWF, Atlas, Wubshee there... the DWF seems to get the attention last.

My bear hunter is long range high mounted er ll. In other words out range them and poke often (to big to miss like Atlas).

Another option is a poptart 2 ERPPC mech.

Atlas. I popped a fresh one earlier and it wasn't any different than walking through a DW. People had their hopes up but it isn't any different than the DW. The KDK is simply going to be faster, more agile, and rely on a different payload. Clan Atlas it isn't.
