I have observed some players have an indicator to the left of the weapon ready light on the left of the targetting reticle.
The indicator is a blue crescent with the top 25% in red.
I have observed players seemingly 'charging' it, with the volume increasing (whine) and the main reticle shaking. After the 'charging' the bar slowly discharges.
The only weapons I saw were lasers, it was a clan mech.
I am guessing its some advanced weapon module, but my google-fu has failed me

Masc indicator. Once in red you are doing damage to your legs.

MASC,
it temp boost your mech acceleration and top speed
but there is a time limit as how long you can use it
overuse it and your legs gets damage and worst case the engine blows up

Good question. Its so uncommon that I haven't personally seen it yet. Sounds like I need to try out MASC on the mechs that have it since I haven't had the chance yet.

@Koniving The trial Shadowcat has it. Give it a whirl.

Side note: I'm about to brave my first facing of the Kodiaks, first in an Atlas Boar's Head.
