Just wait till people get some experience, get tweak&dkubled basics, and hone their builds. Then you'll see em ;)

All the variants need a like -5 to -10% heat generation.. That thing is hot no matter what you put on it.

It is rather strong but honestly until we stop seeing 10 kodiak teams we probably won't know how good it really is.

However, I'd come down on the side of it really didn't need the quirks.

Probably NOT but it handles so dam nicely with them I'd be more than a little upset if they took them off.

All new Mechs get a buff that is so they don’t have a bunch of people asking for refunds

So with that the Kodiak is pretty soft
Reminds me of the Victor
It used to take like 3 days for the computer balance to take over and start nerfing stuff

Now it’s like one day so expect tears to flow

Which is exactly why PGI should have started without quirks. Easier to buff something than to make those who paid REAL MONEY for something feel cheated by nerfing it even if it needed it.

Problem with that is you get mechs like the highlander IIC and the OrionIIC. She's ok with the small mobility quirks. It means the torso keeps up with the arm weapons and you get really nice weapon synergy between the arm mounts and torso mounts. I dont even care about the acceleration quirks, as my minimum engine in this mech is a 375, so she's plenty quick on her feet, ots mostly the torso twist speed thats the biggest help for me personally. It fixes the huge problem of the orion and Highlander...honestly if they get quirks that buffed them up to this level they would probably drive as nice as the Kodiaks do.

I agree. Hard to tell whether it's "OP" or not. From my point of view it only seems that way because we're fighting so many of them. I doubt they're all that OP if they even are.
