Here's another build for the Kodiak-3, this one focus's on the mid range UAC-10 auto cannons. I run this build with an xl400 and less ammo, but I feel this build might be a bit better. I've seen this build run a lot today (the Kodiak release date), and both me and a buddy who were playing were pulling 600-1000 damage matches consistently with it. Bind two auto cannons to one button, and you can peek super easily. The heat isn't as bad as it would seem, but still needs to be managed.

I feel that the Kodiak-3 is probably going to become the most "meta" of the 6 Kodiak variants, with the exception of maybe the hero mech. It will be hard to tell until we see the Kodiak in games where it is not the sole mech on the battlefield (Played a game with 10 Kodiak on my team.).

Ya tried 2 UAC10, and I just hate UACs still, you will never take on a light with them, and sometimes you have to do that.

I'm still the kinda guy who likes backup weapons. I think I'll try rolling with this, first.

Maybe I'll graduate to quad UAC10s later.

I might switch the ERMLs for SPLs... almost the same damage for half the heat.

Ditto, and I keep getting all the damage, kills, etc in these matches. I'm making 300,000 C-bills and I haven't even got premium on...
I just love the firepower of the dual LBX 10's. Sure i guess quad LBX 10's would do the same thing but with the 20's I got more speed and lasers.
