Actually I have seen this and an LRM Adder, was soooooo tempted to leg them and leave them to get mopped up. IMO they are the ultimate expression of "not playing with the team but happy to use them as a shield/distraction"... grrrr.

I ask the same questions when I see an Atlas with 2 lurm 20s and a lurm 15, or a Stalker with an XL

I don't know why Steiners are so afraid of dropping against MS...they could send 16 teams against a planet and if you managed to field 4 12 man competent teams (which you have) you could prevent most if not all ghost drops and hold the planet...at the very least, go on the attack. WTF are you guys are afraid of, you have been putting up great fights against KCom and others prior to MS coming here...just hold the line, you can do it.

Imagine if people did not make statements about units they know nothing about. We have fought MS many times. Majority of the time they dip out to another lane. Unless you have some magic powers that grants us unlimited access to MS lanes not sure exactly what it is you think we can do about that.

NS is ontop of the unit leaderboard, why aren't you dropping everything you are doing to go around the world fighting MS.

MS are not a super strong unit. They have some realy decent players and some realy bad as well. The problem is, that MS choose an overcrowded faction and started crying because of too less drops.
MS are just many, nothing more. AND MS is well organized. Their 350 members are realy active players. (How many Subunits do they have?)

Actualy i love the situation atm. If i wanna have a game, i get one the same second i decide so. But if i would be them, i would go to the faction with the lowest amount of mercs already waiting for them. They did the exact opposit. They choose the faction with the most active CW merc units already there.


At Steiner you have mass pugs. Most of the people starting with the game choose Steiner or Davion (Lore reason) or because of the postion on the map (u can fight Claner AND IS. So its the best place to be). But Pugs dont like getting crushed every single game by well prepared Units.


Btw. if i drop against MS, 90% of the games are just Ogenrushes. Thats boring and super frustrating for me, because its realy hard to defend, even with a 12man team. So why should i watch out for games, which are not fun at all.

Fighting MS is great for the first couple of days (endless gud fites!). By day 7 it feels like bailing water with a leaky bucket.

Dont forget timezones Pat, while MS mostly drops in the US timezone all our 12 mans except PKRL drop in the EU timezone

And its not so much fear of MS its just that I can't stand facehugging SRM Timbers anymore

Woah now hold on, I'm not suggesting 228 fight MS all the time, but if MS is complaining about no games they can always fight big units like you guys.

But you know that's as likely to happen as clans fighting each other.

I realize I sound a bit defensive. There is a lot of hate going on the forums right now of the typical big unit blaming and people accusing 228 of dodging fights with MS.

Basically will boil down to who's brains turn to mayonnaise from so many ghost drops first.

The game of attrition.

Hopefully it is so miserable for all involved (or in this case...not able to be involved) that we can seriously consider changes to lower Merc populations, and increase Loyalist populations.
