I love how they call it faction play now , it use to be called community warfare but because their wasn't much warfare going on it's now Faction play? Or fraction play maybe

Yes it's "you just stick to a fraction and play some" now. I was dropping solo today, normaly I go with my unit. Of course we lost all matches but I also didn't expect much else dropping with PUG teams against mixed groups of 4-6 Evil and MS so it was just some farming and practice for me, however I can imagine how frustrating it must be for pure solo players...

Anyhow there is not much of a community to have a warfare with. Yesterday my unit had like 7 ghost drops and a few PUGs the whole evening, where the matches last less than the waiting time.

The game is simply dying. Just look at the scoreboard of the current Kodiak event. Half of the players or more don't even bother to have a faction association anymore. FW population is hitting rock bottom. There was usually plenty of action on our unit play-day and now there is nothing going on.

Why bother scouting when there are no fights to fight afterwards and why bother fighting when scouting tipped the scales too much? Scouting, even though I find it entertaining, was a horrible decision to introduce. It splits an already small population. Now people who previously played invasion games play scouting instead.

I don't even want to see how much worse it is in factions less active than Jade Falcon.

Why does PGI refuse to do anything about this. 4 factions. No mercenaries. Your players need to be ABLE TO PLAY or we simply leave.

I spend too much time waiting for crap to happen.... waiting for a match, waiting for a group, waiting for a drop, waiting for mechlab to load, waiting to save waiting for FW to load waiting for a dropship....

When I have an hour of free time I am lucky to get in 1 FW game.

Yep, it's been like that ALL week in CSJ.

I have been unable to get a drop at all because no one else is attacking anything Clan and no one from CSJ queues.

We got a 10man going 4 days ago and eventually dragged 12 more out so it was 24/24 but that lasted two games because the PUGS in the other group got smashed by Steiner 12-man and then we couldn't get anymore

Sucked big time... Not going back to CSJ unless there isan ACTIVE unit there to get action with. The CSK pop is big, I seen loads of CSJ people in quick play, so NFI why they don't queue.

Not really suprising. We had a pretty large initial rush, but people quickly realized Phase 3 actually didn't add any worthwhile content aside of 4v4 and didn't fix any of the issues we are having since CWs release.

They got hyped by Russ telling them "oh my gawd biggust addition to CW EVUUUUUUR" and left quickly after seeing pretty much nothing of value was added.

Unfortunately with PGI's obsession with turning mwo into an e-sport and its fixation on the 'World Championship', it seems extremely unlikely that anything will improve for actual game content.

You're obviously talking about the NA attack phase. EU attack phase is fine, fairly well balanced population, numbers are good, everyone gets more or less quick matches.

Where is the whole IS? Jade Falcons walking through Steiner as if it's nothing taking one or two planets per day and even with most matches going on there, Steiner can't stop them at all. Besides that one sees hardly any Steiner pilot in the matches. The rest of the front lines are pretty much dead everywhere.
(And I don't even start asking why Marik votes for attack planets and then never does any match there.)

There is no matches in Oceanic either as Marik, it was 0/0 last two days running.

Just defending Steiner, least I get low wait times and intense games. It's been fun dropping against KCom/EK/EVIL (they drop in Oceanic time a lot).

It's funny, a lot of people roll their eyes and go "well we have lost, it's KCom". But we've had some really close games for a bunch of PUGs vs a 8-man or so as there are some of the decent usual suspects defending (iLL/MonPax/Samurai). Even if there is always one PUG who loses 4 mechs in 2 waves and only managed 64 DMG over those 4 mechs lol.

Even managed to pull off a win against them yesterday and they've hardly been 48-12 steamrolls, usually 48/40 or something. Been really solid fun lately, so while it's not the corridor and attacking I'd like to be doing (and taking planets), lease it's better than sitting in CSJ ghost town where NO ONE ever queue's.
