Haven't really had the time to play around much yet, but some success has been had with KDK-3: 2x Gauss, 2x ERLL (one on each paw). And AMS, though I might switch that out for MGs, just to mount the dual gauss on higher hardpoints.

Here you go, for the underhivers and seal clubbers.

Yep. Works ok with dual gauss, dual MG to raise gauss to top mounts and 4 spl, 2 in each paw. Group the 4 spl with the MG's and when you punch 2 gauss rounds into a single component then back it up with the 4 spl + MG's, it can wreck mechs.

My current SB build is more versatile. 2LPL in the arms, 4 CSRM4+A, and an CUAC10, plus all the extras like MASC, AMS, targeting comp and CAP. I use the srm4 rather than 6 for the faster cyclic rate and the tighter grouping.

Fun fact about having the dual gauss on the lower points though: they're on a pretty optimal level for headshotting other Kodiaks. Noticed yesterday by accident when another came at me around a corner and I reaction (read: panic)- fired in its general direction. Boom.

My SB is carrying 2 ML, 4 SRM6+art and one UAC20.
My kdk1 is a long range fighter (due to the lack of structure quirks) with 4 LL, 5 ML and one LRM15.

I find the long range builds in the 1 version to be quite good as you pack a lot of long range firepower and your armour lasts a long time in long range encounters. Also, with the XL400, you are faster than anything your size, and the smaller threats don't have the damage to counter you. I am quite a good shot and getting 4 LL on a firestarter for full burn is quite satisfying XD

I saw a guy running this build yesterday. Use this build at your own risk. It's so powerful, you're likely to get reported.

Nice try. No one will be risking permaban for running The Forbidden Build.

You got some balls for even taking a screen cap of that.
Are you trying to be banned AND nerf the Kodiak at the same time?

I'll think up the very best build if someone buys them for me. Posted Image

It'll probably involve LPL, ERML, and lots and lots of SHS.

You fool! Don't you know that PGI strictly monitors these forums 24/7?! This is the last thing they need to justify nerfing the Kodiak into the ground with neg-quirks to laser duration, jam chance, etc! How will the Clans ever hope to defeat the Urbanmech then? This was their last, best and only hope!

I was using Quad UAC10s to fantastic effects! but now I have my eye on something different...

Flamers, Dual Gauss and dual UAC2s, with a TC6 for 2700M/s on both Dakka families.
A headshot hunter, I do believe...but that will ruin my stats on it.

I'm willing to make that sacrifice, FINALLY, a mech with a large TC, backup weapons and some speed.
May even throw a BAP on there for instant Paperdoll acquisition...Soon™

Goddammit Alistair, now that you've given out the secret what am I supposed to use on my Summoner?

Think before you post, man!
