There are alot of mechs out there, and more coming at cheaper priceing for sure (Yay night gyr!) . But, I have yet to meet a player who was disappointed in the Timberwolf though as it is easily the best clan heavy mech. And you see the TBW in almost every quick play match and FW match ( if one of the teams is clan). Doubt it ever gets totally obseleted by another heavy mech. So 55 dollars could be a good investment for you as the prime center torso you get is a Hero cbill earning beast. I spent 55 on the Stormcrow/Ryoken ala carte because I balked at seeing the cost of the entire package when wave 1 released.

Alternatively you could spend much less on a Warhammer or Maurader pack and grind your way to 3 Timberwolves. Or just stay FTP and buy TW with cadet bonuses and then grind the other 2 out. If any mech is good for grinding it is the one
