KGC 4-UAC5 Traditional Dakka

KGC 2x LB10X + 2x AC5 Try-Hard Dakka

I was just wondering if any of you tried this dakka before, the 2x AC5 + 2x LB10X, it cannot be double shot, but it doesn't jam.

4x UAC5 has E-DPS of 3.638 accounting Jam Chance, 14.552 total DPS with 4 UAC5. But the 2x AC5 + 2x LB10X has 14.02 DPS, it's somewhat close, but it's cooler, and it has regular fire rate.

Its how I've built my KCG-000B. I'd rather the crit ability and no-jamming, plus its a higher instant blast for a close range target.

LBX-10's are not great, especially with the spread of the King Crabs Arms add into the spread of the LBX pellets, and Crit Seeking it not every worth it in MWO.

If only AC/10 weren't so damn big...

Alternatively, if only I could dump my AC/10 for solid shot LB-10X...

I tried the LB-10X+AC/5 build before, and found it fairly sad. It lacks the pure punching power of dual AC/20s, and the panic inducing impact of Quad-Ultras.

I run one of mine with a pair of lbxs, four medium lasers and four srm2s. With the lbx cooldown, you can chainfire with almost constant fire with each arm, while the fast reload on the srms lets you hit pretty frequently. You can use the mlas sparingly, as it will cause too much heat doing all at once for an extended period, but that constant fire between the lbx and the srms will panic another player and give you a bit more time for mayhem.

Granted, not as strong as other builds, but if you come across anyone with existing damage....

Its a bit backwards, but the ACTUAL crit weapons in MWO are the ones that do 10+ dmg in a single hit (AC10, AC20, (C)(ER)PPC, Gauss)

Because when you roll a crit, you do the weapons damage rating to whatever component you randomly hit, and since 99% of components in this game have 10 HP, one of the 10 damage weapons booms whatever they hit, whereas the 'crit seeking' weapons will spread their tiny damage crits over all of the components, usually destroying none of them and thus being terrible.

MG and LBX crit seeking is a lie, basically.
