regarding the MECH STATS category under our profiles......
when you start mixing omnipods on a clan mech how does MWO track the progress?
If i have a Storcrow-D mech but use a Prime head component for a laser slot will the stat go +/- for the D because it is the main part of the mech or both Prime and D because it has both type of omnipods?

Only the Center omnipod makes the mech count as a different variant, all mech related stats (W/L, K/D, maps played on etc.) are linked to that.
At the same time the game tracks equipped weapons for those stats (accuracy etc.)
Please note however that the collection of these stats (primarily the weapon stats), is rather borked. Anyone serious about the stats disregards these as it's easy to find glaring inconsistensies (number of matches used is a very obvious and notorious one).
CW also isn't tracked.
