Yeah I know, yet another Kodiak/Spirit Bear post but I've come to notice something on mostly the Spirit Bear that doesn't seem to happen too much on the other models. The damn thing has a moderate to high alpha, moderate to high dps and runs cold. Any one else notice that it stays cooler than even some of the IS assault mechs?
Here's my current build for SB.

I run with the lasers on mouse1, uac/10 on mouse2, srm's on mouse3, srm's on mouse4 in chainfire. I can alpha twice then start chainfiring the srms and the uac just fine and sprinkle in the lasers as needed. It feels really weird to run a clan mech, let alone a 100t assualt mech and not feel the need to spend time cooling down between alpha's or brawls. Is this common among the SB pilots or am I just too conservative on my loadout?

Brawl the hell out... and masc? it is like a hit and run heavies.
UAC/LBX, up to preference.
Artemis or not? usually SRM6s better with Artemis.
XL400? I'm either too lazy to try another size, or don't have the money. But all I know, if you have speed for an assault... moar speeeeed... ramming speeeeeed.

(put TC4 there couldnt find Masc4 in smurfy, may be I'm blind)
Alright, I guess. The reason why I'm brawling is because no need to worry about sniping or too many range variety in my loadout. Yours seems ok for LPLas + UAC10 for within the same range 500.
I would ditch the Artemis for masc. At this point, masc is too addictive for me to pass.
Also i think 4t for 4xsrm6 is enough, 1t spare - TC1 may be another sink.
