Why is it I have to constantly be bombarded by "Call To Arms" pop-ups when I am not part of Faction/CW?

It's gotten so bad during NA prime time that it's difficult to read the 'mech specs/quirks pop-up tab at bottom-right in the mechlab for all the C2A pop-ups stacking up so fast I can't 'dismiss' them fast enough to uncover the data I want to look at. Sometimes so bad that I log out and come back some other time when there are far fewer players online.

It makes me think "Geez, if these things are that bad when I'm not even in CW/Faction play, how bad would it get if I *did* join CW/Faction play?". Annoying players not (yet?) in CW/Faction play with a nearly constant stream of pop-ups is not an effective means to attract them to CW/Faction play. Just the opposite.

There needs to be an option in Game Settings to turn off C2A pop-ups, particularly if you're not in Faction/CW.

Hilariously you get a lot less popups if you do join a specific faction, likely you are being bombarded due to being a freelancer and thus eligible to fight/defend anyone.

I'd just like the option to block the pop-ups. I never use 'em anyways; it's more effective to manually select your attack/defend.

There should be a check box for turning them off. What kills me is that I am usually in a 12 man FW group and I still get spammed...

Pop ups are "seals push here" buttons meant to either teach or feed new players into the grinder. It has the complete opposite effect of a MM unless teamed with a group of 3 in scout mode.

Ever since my unit has started doing CW on a regular basis it is much more fun than solo pug or group regs. Usually though it is the side with more than 6 pugs loses in 12 man mode.

The fact we can't turn them off is proof enough that the can is simply being kicked along with no thought as to where said can should be kicked.

It is some of the worst design flop I have ever seen in a game. Well. I've seen others in this game, just never seen it so bad in other games.

wow... seriously?

OK, yet another new low about things to whine about.

Literally haven't played FW/CW on this acct in a year, never even pay attention to the Pop Ups, zero impact on mechlabbing.

This cupstacking generation, I swear, just has to find a reason to QQ.....

If things are getting that sour for ya bishop, then it's time to walk away from the forums for a bit.

yes, the call to arms notices shouldn't be popping up while in the mechlab, or while in the map/mode choices section either, which it has been doing for the last few weeks or so... pls fix this very frustrating problem
