Yesterday my neighbor's kids were trying to show off after building a makeshift ramp out in the middle of the street. The first one came hauling (expletive deleted) and hit the ramp, front tire hits the ground, and face plant straight into the asphalt. I only wish is that I had it on video.

Epic Fail.

When I see kids do stupid things, I always think to myself "I wasn't such an idiot as a kid''.

But I my thoughts do not reflect the reality.

I have reported you for not having that video.

I was the kid that sat and would just read and do nothing interesting at all.

I was the kid that ACTED like I was just reading ... might even have BEEN reading... until I was sure there were no witnesses...

I used to sk8.

I remember some of the sponsored skaters having chronically messed up teeth from hitting their head on the concrete.

The worst fall I've ever seen someone take was someone boardsliding a rail on pavement, landing on their stomach and skidding noticeably for a short distance. Horrible expression on their face. They literally road rashed their genitals a little. I wince sometimes when I remember it.

Pain, glorious pain. There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you sit back and enjoy someone fail, in a spectacular way. Sometimes you can almost see it happen. Skater jumps up onto a rail, misses, gravity takes over and they are ready for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Put in a skateboard and you get epic facial expressions as they discover a new meaning of pogo-stick and Popsicle.

Is it just me or is does the pain taste sweeter when it comes from an innocent child? Posted Image

Ahhhh, I was the block pyro. If something was exploding or burning, --or flying into the sky in some combination of the two-- I was never too far away.

Tried building a bike ramp once, it broke and I almost ate the curb. Thank god I learned how roll from karate.

Yeah, I think we all did somethings as kids, and got the scars to prove it. But you have to admit that after one skate boarder watches another land on a vertical board right up the (bleep), the idea of having a goth-styled skateboard goes bye-bye. You know, the ones with spikes on the tips or having notches sawed into it to give the impression of teeth. Yeah, not a good idea if you are going to end up mounted on top of one for a few moments as everyone gasps in horror and then puts your fail on You-Tube.
