As a wee lad that played spryo with out a memory card and left his poor play-station on for days at a time trying to beat that damm game but only to have accident after accident where it was unplugged. i switched to a computer, my dads computer. He was a small time player his one and only game was mechwarrior 2. i played the NVA learning that you can change one arm and it would fit my young early play style I still use today. (just run at them with every laser firing and hope for the best)

This game has a lot of problems but when i sit in that mech shooting other PUGS over who is the best at shooting things and somehow coordinating with a random pug group.

I love it. It is everything i have been looking for in robotic warfare. no other game has this.. Essence of true in your cockpit fights.

Well, as long as you take this game to be what it is , that being a team multiplayer tactical shooter arena game, it's a pretty decent game plagued with some balance issues and slow content output.

Most who think otherwise wanted mechwarrior 5 + multiplayer and got an arena shooter witch is why you might find that on these forums there is less love and gratitude to PGI then you would expect.

Yeah, it's too bad that Microsoft pulled the plug on MW5. That would have been very fun...

However PGI is working enough with AI and other programming that they will probably be able to make a PVE gMe based on MWO's residuals.

So, I got that working for me, which is nice.

I was thinking how nice it would be if PGI started a kickstarter for a MW5 game with assets from MWO but in a newer engine , and after that used that engine to update MWO.. seems like a win win... though after transverse not sure about PGI and kickstarters X) .

but what is gone is gone, this game isn't worth even 1/100th of the money i paid.

Who in their right mind would give them money? Seriously.

This is a free game i thought it worthy of the 100 dollars i have put into the game, and happy with every mech.

Why would you put yourself through such further angst?

This. PGI have proven to be in varying degrees incompetent and untrustworthy.

I think they'll come up with a new company before they attempt another Transverse.

I suspect they are working on it now, given the glacial pace of change in their main product, MWO.

I reckon $300 is as much as I should have spent. Unfortunately, I spent 5X as much before I finally concluded that PGI wouldn't deliver the game I wanted.

Plenty of salt on the forums but MWO is a good game for what it is.
