Clan Wolf Occupied Space
Ulric Kerensky leaned back heavily, the toll of politics weighing upon him more than that of the battle for the Inner Sphere. The IS mechs fell before the Clan onslaught without fail, and victory was all but assured. And this is why the message from earlier was so odd.
A message had come in on a secure channel of a military advisory group from Cloud Cobra looking to join and aid in the invasion. It was an unusual message. Cobra had chosen to sit out the rebirth of the Star League, remaining in Clan space left to pursue whatever advantages they seeked with the bulk of Clan power away fighting. What had suddenly possessed them to send an “advisory” group to assist an operation well underway that had seen success after success? Worlds fell like dominoes before the rightful heirs to the Star League and advice was hardly needed. Perhaps to claim a portion, no matter how small, of the glory and honor. A rogue faction perhaps?
Secondly, the wording of the message was not what one would expect from a Clan. It attempted to mimic the standard format and formal language of such a communication, but had idiosyncrasies he could not explain. It had come on official secure channels, and he found it hard to believe the IS forces had managed to break such a complex encryption system, so he tried to push this doubt aside for that fact alone.
More mechs with skilled warriors were not to be thrown away lightly. If there is one thing he knew, it was the tides of war could change in a blink of an eye.
He would allow this 77th Assault Cluster to join the invasion, but he would watch them closely. Clan Wolf would not be duped by a ploy by their foes to gain power and prestige. Yes, he would watch the 77th and they would not earn trust lightly.
77th AC Command
Star Colonel Topper McGruff smiled as he read Kerensky’s reply.
“We’re in,” he whispered to himself. “Let the games begin…………”
Join the 77th Assault Cluster of Cloud Cobra, the advisory group to the Clan Invasion. The 77th is a Merc unit with no loyalties to any of the invading Clans, except those they choose to “assist.” They are a group of pilots who enjoy comradery and fun, on top of bringing their Inner Sphere enemies to their knees.

As for our MechWarrior Online group we are part of the Knight Wardens Multi Gaming Community taking contracts for all Clan factions. We believe in charting our own course and with no particular politics as a majority in the unit. All employers are welcome and most missions accepted. We are beholding to none except ourselves and will always take actions on what’s best for our unit. Our principles guide elements of this decision and we will not alter from this because our principles are more important than a game. We have let it guide our community in this regard. We are currently running practices and pug drops throughout the week but are always looking for those who want to join us for a great casual or semi casual experience in a laid back group of friends. Our Unit size will never be at the cost of losing that close knit feeling with our fellow pilots. Feel free to reach out to myself or any member of the 77AC via PM if you would like additional information or visit our website at: http://www.knightwardens.enjin.com/
