Hey all, I've been looking for this answer, but haven't been able to stumble upon it yet. I was wondering if there is any word if Premium accounts have the option to be suspend so you don't waste time for the weeks/months you won't be able to log on and play. I don't really care to be able to suspended the Premium account when I'm sleeping or not logged online. I 'm not looking to abuse the system like that. My concern is that I'm very interested in purchasing a Legendary Founder's Package, but unfortunately I have a feeling that in September-ish I'll lose access to broadband internet and thus won't be able to play. I imagine that most likely I'll just have to bite the bullet, but here's to hoping someone cares.

If a Dev reads this and an option like this hasn't been implemented, I propose this option be made available with some sort of fee. Perhaps a micro transaction of some reasonable amount ($1-$5 for example), a limited number of free on/off toggles, a mandatory waiting period between suspensions and reactivation, and/or some other idea that hasn't occurred to me.

Anyways, this is just a thought. Thanks for reading.

this has been talked about a bit atm there is nothing that say or hints that i will be done that way.

atm looks like it starts on the 7th of aug and runs out 7th of sep/oct/nov

tho a new ish post from a dev says that there are now planned resets after 7th of aug and all founder reward will reset with them.
so likely that an Premium will start not long before the open beta starts.

This is something I would like to be able to do also as I will be going bush for 5-6 weeks from mid September and wont be able to play.

Read in another thread that once open beta stats all the founders bonus' will be reset. Thus making it 1-3 months from whenever that happens.

yes i saw that but havent seen it posted by a dev so not sure if it's true

Haven't heard of any online games which allow you to suspend your paid subscription.

The devs said that they will look at the feasibility of such an option but have not commented any more on the matter.

This guy in the suggestions section suggested they offer the premium account activation in the form of a voucher code you can redeem at any time and that is when your premium member ship unlocks.

Imo thats a great idea. You get a code In your email and you redeem it whenever you want.

That would indeed be a nice idea. Personally either way works for me, but I realize a lot of people will miss out on their subs if they start automatically.
