Not entirely true. MLX jumps about 20% more than ACH, it's got to do with the tonnage, the exact mechanics of this game's jump jets elude me but it's very obvious the lightest you are within a given JJ class the more jump you get from them, both max height and more importantly impulse.
Mist Lynx has a very nimble jump, so much that it can actually use it to evade in a brawl, the closer and bigger your target is the better you can evade simply by jumping out of his crosshair, not many mechs can do it simply because not many mechs truly jump, most hover over the landscape presenting slow and predictable targets. MLX really is a different ride and no other mech is quite like it.
