This is for newer player who don't know the lore. PGI please answer this question. Why don't the battle mechs in the store declare if they are clan or IS? I mean for new player who want to be part of clan faction play its hard for them when they don't even know what are the clan mechs without asking people. I understand they can look at the trials mech but in the store there is no icon to represent the clan mechs.

I get complaint a lot from newer player who join us in our unit. Saying that they didn't know what the different in the mechs. When i tell them they can't play with us because they brought is mech and didn't know. Than they have to grind for Credits which it take forever since they spend on mechs not knowing that they are IS and the fact that Clan mechs are way higher cost in credits.

So this i believe should be installed for the feature of the clan and help the clan get newer players!

Well... if you look at the weapons load...and you see a C- before the weapon type... its clan...therefore logic suggests....

But if you are new to the game. How do you know to look there. I mean you would have to click on mech in the store than to go into details. I mean it should be more clearer for newer player. I don't even care if they made is mech blue boarder and mech red boarder to show who they belong to.

For those not aware, there is a color stripe just above the Mech's picture. Yellow for Inner Sphere, Blue for Clanner. PGI really should have made a bigger point of identification to the player.

Really?? See even i didn't know that and i been playing for years. Its doesn't say that anywhere in game for what the color mean. Shouldn't clan also be red because of the clan loyalist and is should be blue because of star league?

I've never seen the different colors, and in the lore, clans used captured IS mechs, and IS used captured clan mechs, so why can't we used different types of mechs in other factions like a clan mech on the IS side
