I've been waiting years for a game like this.

I'm very excited to see what this game will bring!

Bring me back Daishi and we'll be set.

I'm afraid you won't be getting your Daishi. If this game is really set in 3015, it's prior to the Clan invasion. Welcome back to the good old days of single heat sinks, no ER laser weaponry, and LRMs that scatter a bit more than you'd like. When you've got to work to get your rounds on target. In other words, when men were men. :)

All told, I'm 100% psyched up for this. Wheee!

Judging by the tweets, the timeframe was moved from 3015 to 3048. The Daishis/Dire Wolfs are inbound!

Hi !

I noticed that some Twitter Tweets were writing at the year 3048. So what that means ? Think about it :D

Im also a big fan of Mechwarrior since MW3. Im not so very familiar with the history of the MW Universe but i always wanna play that game as a Simulation. Nothing is better than that ! I hope MW Online will be that way...we don't need an arcade game :)

Im so exciting to play MW again after 12 years ! MW3 was released in 1999... :D

I'm incredibly excited. I've been waiting a long time for a new Mech Warrior game, I hope this lives up to what they are promising.

It makes me excited to play a game again that requires extensive use of a keypad. For too-long has it just collected dust on my keyboard.

I, too, am hoping for "Simulation" far more than "Arcade". These need to feel like vehicles.

Hello Gentlemen, as someone who has loved Battletech since in the sibkos and I must say that I welcome this with open arms. Hopefully this will not only reboot the series, but also pave the way for the next generation of pilots and warriors.

I am very excited and think this came at a excellent time.

Not to mention that the tabletop was used as inspiration or at least the dev's played it a lot,I think we are all bound for a great time!

It would be easy to be cynical about a F2P MMO adaptation of Mechwarrior, but in all honesty I believe that Piranha are as passionate and dedicated to the IP as the fans are. They wouldn't have stuck with the project if they weren't.

Ps. Mektek rules!
