There is no practical way to do this with two large lasers. No matter what size engine you use, you would have to be using close to zero armor.

It's a suicide box.

1E is far better running small pulses or even medium lasers (6 energy points on the arms and decent mobility quirks)
1V has the -50% energy duration and cooldown which is just amazing with the ERLL (or even LPL if you want to sacrifice a lot of armour or some speed)

If going for a sniper build on a 1E, he can offset this further by shifting all arm armour to one side.
LCT-1E 7-ton heavy weapons blank
The DHS in the arm are intended to soak up crits in the event that the arm gets hit by an AC20, AC10, PPC or Gauss. If the arm with the weapon goes, you won't need those DHS anyway, so this gives you extra padding for your big gun.
Example builds:
LCT-1E LPL
LCT-1E ERPPC
LCT-1E LL + 2 SPL

I'd go 180 and uparmor on a ranged build. Of course, I'd never run a ranged build on the 1E.

The only armour missing is on the non-weapon arm. Which you won't need, anyway; the LCT arms are so small they hardly ever take hits. Same goes for the head.

I agree in theory, but I have been hit in the head and I dislike the 2 points off the gun arm. And the 180 really doesn't give up meaningful agility or speed vs the 190, especially in a long range build. I make that downgrade on a LCT if I have any doubt or if it gains me anything.

Remember, in Solo, if you tie up an enemy assault and he gets the fear and isnt firing on your teammates, your 20 tons basically negated the enemy 100 tons. Thats good math. Rest is on your team to not fudge up the match, or, you want to vulture late match.
