Having a lower arm actuator in the Zeus prevents it from mounting an AC20 in the ballistic variants. Removing it so that there is an extra slot in the arm would allow for a better selection of fits and improve this currently somewhat lacklustre assault mech.
Visually the arms on the Zeus are similar to the arms on the Centurion which, on some variants, have no lower arm actuator so there should be no need to remodel, simply adjust the mechlab.
Doing this would give us a much more interesting mech with a distinct fast assault brawler role.

Except that Zeus has a lower arm actuator. That's just how it works. Not all mechs can mount an ac20 in their arm, and that's by design.

Well that's my point, change the design to give a lacklustre mech a small improvement. if all we ever do is say 'That's just how it works' then nothing can ever get better. Think positive!

Or, you know just allow AC/20's to be split-location mounted. Y'know, like they're supposed to.

IMO, two guesses what any Hero Zeus might have, or specifically lack..

Oh I won't need two guesses!
As to lacklustreness, or the lack of it, it might just be that I don't do well with it.
However,I do really like the Yen Lo Wang build with an XL300 and an AC20, and an AC20 Zeus, being a naturally fast assault mech would be like an upsized Yen Lo Wang. Only with some SRMs too.
