HI, I was wondering if there's a regular schedule or if it's just random.

I'm really wanting to test drive some new mechs (even the crappy ones) since I feel like I've played out the current set.

As far as I know there is not an schedule.

They usually stay for months, but they've been there for months already so any patch now.

Usually every 4-6 months. Not a set schedule that I know of, but they usually change out 2-3 times a year since I've been playing. Last change was several months ago.

Used to be every week, then every two weeks, then every patch (which lately has been once a month) and these days a bit less often.

Used to be very often because there would only be four trials. Then came 12, now 24.

When it does change, it will always be on a patch day.

Perhaps you could stir them a little for a new trial cycle?

I hope they change soon. I could stand to get some new trials. Not because I am sick of the old ones so much as I just have some many mech's i want to try out and the wife would kill me if i drop $20 constantly on new mechs.

They'll change when the next batch of champion mechs are done most likely. We had a forum design challenge for new champions I think in february, and they implemented them in the April patch as I recall. There are a number of mechs without champion versions still as well as lacking hero versions (all the clans except for the kodiaks lacked a Hero version).
