So I figured I'd show off a little, and share what I'm working on, and the prints once pritned.

Todays project has been:
Erwin Tank, with AC20, LRM5 and Small Laser:

There'll be a few more Erwin variants to do, then I'll be doing its sister tank, the George.

Also been working on my 'Universal Mass System' based collection of weapons (the Erwin uses these).
So far, basically all Inner Sphere Ballistics have been done:

As well as around half the Clan. I'll post more / renders later.

I have plans to do sseveral more 'inspired' vehicles, such as a few based on the Morningstar, Destrier and Gulltroppr in the future.
Though if you guys have any suggestions, feel free to make them!

Oi! I see you using SolidWorks! What else do you use it for?

Also, nice work! Those ballistic models look great!

Yes, fine strong names I thought.
Picked completely at random of course.
(Too used to dealing with the GW paranoia. Posted Image, but it makes interesting having different names)

I do take commissions. Feel free to shoot me a PM.
As long as the model is sound, I can print it - but we can discuss that in PM. Posted Image

What don't I use Solidworks for!

It does the ironing, goes and gets my takeaways, polishes my shoes~

In all seriousness, my original background was a mechanical engineer.
But while good at the CG stuff, I sucked at the paperwork / ISO standard stuff (took me forever), so 3D printing was the natural progression for me.

Other stuff I've done (semi random selection)

Nice! I'm about to start my final year studying to be an ME as well. Those models look great! After learning to model in SolidWorks it's pretty much impossible for me to model in any other program.

P.S., Dreadnoughts are just too cool.

Ok,. so I've done a few variants and would like opinons:

This is HAG40 (A, B, C) / HAG30 (A, B, C) / C-Gauss Rifle / HAG20 (AB, C) / C-AP Gauss Rifle

Posted Image

Which HAGs look best? A, B or C?
(or is it a mix?)

Or I could just make all of them available as alternate options?

I'm a fan of Bravo options for the 30 and 40, with Alpha for the 20.

So, a few days later and we have:

All Battletech Ballistic options:

All Energy weapons. (These are a bit more boring imo, not as much variety among laser barrels.)

Also, 3 flavours of Annasir Assault Hover Tank

And 2/3 types of Jibril Scout
